We are honored to announce that Megan Philibin has been selected as the Volunteer of the Year by What Makes You Feel Beautiful (WMYFB). This is a well-deserved recognition for Megan, who has been an integral part of our organization and has made a significant impact on our mission to empower girls and young women to cultivate self-love.
Since joining WMYFB in 2019, Megan has become the most active and dedicated member of our team. She has taken on the role of lead events spokesperson, trained mentor, social media help, outreach, and has assisted the executive director. Her passion, kindness, and reliability have made her an essential member of our team and a role model for young women everywhere.
Megan's contributions to the organization have been far-reaching, and her ability to share our mission and message of self-love has been invaluable. She has helped to launch the F.L.Y youth program that visited Baldwin H.S. and assisted with teaching two classes on how to deal with self-critical thoughts, providing young women with role models and guidance as they navigate their own paths to success and personal growth.
Through her dedication and leadership, Megan has helped to inspire and empower girls and young women on Maui and beyond to believe in themselves and their abilities. We are grateful for her years of commitment and the impact that she has made at WMYFB.
