Empowering the Future Leaders of Maui: Introducing the Maui GEMS Program

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Maui GEMS program, a new initiative aimed at empowering the young girls of our community. Running from March through September each year, the program is designed to provide a comprehensive support system that nurtures the potential of Maui's girls to become confident, educated, and empowered leaders.

The Maui GEMS program offers a series of workshops that focus on critical life skills, including self-esteem building, résumé writing, financial literacy, networking, and communication skills. These workshops are tailored to equip our participants with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of the modern world and to excel in their personal and professional lives.

In addition to the workshops, the program offers a support group that meets every Friday. This group provides a safe space for participants to share their experiences, learn from each other, and build a strong sense of community and belonging.

One of the highlights of the Maui GEMS program is the summer internship opportunity for approved applicants. This provides a practical, hands-on experience that complements the theoretical knowledge gained in the workshops. It's a chance for participants to apply their skills in real-world settings, gain valuable work experience, and make meaningful connections in their chosen fields.

The Maui GEMS program is more than just a series of workshops and internships; it's a movement towards creating a more equal and empowered community. By investing in the education and empowerment of our young girls, we are paving the way for a brighter future for Maui and beyond.

We invite you to join us in this exciting journey as we empower the future leaders of Maui. For more information on the Maui GEMS program and how to get involved, please visit our website or contact us directly. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our girls and our community.
