Maui Rally Around Peace Event Recap

Empowering Inner Peace Through Self-Love

Last Saturday, the IMUA Discovery Garden in Wailuku was filled with vibrancy, love, and harmony. The Rally Around Peace event, organized by the Teran James Young Foundation, was an epitome of unity, and we at What Makes You Feel Beautiful were honored to be a part of it.

Why Self-Love Matters

What Makes You Feel Beautiful is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission close to our hearts: empowering girls and women to cultivate self-love. The correlation between self-love and inner peace is profound. When we embrace ourselves, flaws and all, we foster a tranquility that radiates outward, influencing those around us and extending into the world. Self-love isn't just about personal empowerment—it's about global unity and peace.

A Day of Peace, Music, and Gratitude

At our booth, attendees engaged with our spin-the-wheel game, each walk away with gifts that celebrate peace and love. The melodic tunes that floated through the air further heightened the event's atmosphere, creating a space of introspection and community connection.

We're grateful to the wonderful individuals who visited our booth and pledged support for our mission to empower girls and women. Your stories, laughter, and hugs have made the event all the more cherished and unforgettable. Thank you.

A huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers: Kailani Jackson, Courtney Stice, Lisa Cabatingan, and Mary Albitz. Your dedication and spirit truly made the event special. To Sheila, our esteemed board member, your tireless support means the world to us.

As we reflect on the event, we're reminded of how interconnected self-love and world peace truly are. Together, we can foster a world where love and peace reign supreme.

Support What Makes You Feel Beautiful's become a beacon of hope for girls and women in Hawai’i.
