Change is a beautiful part of growth. Just as the ocean shifts tides and flowers bloom in their seasons, What Makes You Feel Beautiful is evolving.

We are honored to share our refreshed colors, updated website, and renewed energy with you. These changes are more than a new look — they are a reflection of who we are becoming together.

Why the Change?

For many years, our organization carried red and black as our primary colors. They were bold and strong, but in our Hawai‘i community they carried meanings we did not intend.

We also listened closely to the women and girls we serve. For some, the color red can feel overwhelming or even triggering — especially for those who have lived through certain kinds of trauma. As a community rooted in healing and self-love, we wanted our colors to reflect a softer, more welcoming embrace.

That is why we chose to let those colors rest as part of our history and step into a new palette that carries the spirit of aloha, healing, inclusivity, and belonging. These hues are gentle, yet strong; grounded, yet open. They represent the same values that guide our work with girls, women, and families every day.

What’s New on the Website

Our updated website is designed to feel like a welcoming home. You’ll find:

✨ A fresh design with colors that honor connection, self-love, and care.

✨ Stories of change, sharing the journeys of girls and women in our programs.

✨ Easier navigation, so it’s simple to join, give, or connect.

✨ New program highlights featuring MAUI GEMS, the FLY SEL program, and ʻOhana Care Outreach.

A Journey We Share

While our look has evolved, our mission remains steadfast: to create spaces where girls, women, and families are supported in discovering self-love, leadership, and community care.

This rebrand is not just about colors — it’s about energy, about belonging, about creating a reflection of the love we pour into this work. It’s a reminder that growth is natural, and with each step, we carry you — our community — at the center.
