Monica Marrow

Monica Marrow is the founder and executive director of What Makes You Feel Beautiful (WMYFB), a community-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization on Maui, Hawaii. She is a passionate advocate for empowering girls and women. Holding certifications in youth mental health first aid and Youth Suicide and Bullying Prevention Training, Monica is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that promotes self-love and confidence. Her commitment to mentoring young girls is rooted in her own challenging childhood experiences, which have shaped her understanding of the importance of building self-esteem and self-worth from an early age.

In 2023, Monica was honored as one of the 10 leading ladies of Maui by the Rotary Club District 5000. She has received several accolades, including the Business Equality Excellence Award in 2019, recognition in the BEQ Pride Legacy Leaders Over 50 in 2020, the Edna Saunders Silent Life Changer Award in 2016, and the title of Volunteer of the Year in Maui County in 2022.

With a diverse background as a retired licensed cosmetologist, former salon owner, photography/art teacher, and professional media and red carpet photographer, Monica brings a unique perspective to the significance of self-care and self-love. Her previous role as the programs director at the Hudson Pride “LGBTQA” Center in New Jersey highlights her dedication to empowering marginalized communities.

Monica is also a marketing specialist, content creator with Essential Life Academy, program developer, group facilitator and trainer, and the producer of Tiny Film Productions. In 2018, Monica embarked on a new chapter by relocating from White Plains, NY to Hawai'i, where she continues her mission with unwavering passion. Her goal is to create a world where girls and women can nurture self-love, build confidence, and develop their full potential in life. Monica's work is a testament to her belief in the transformative power of self-love and her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Mary Johnson Swann brings a wealth of experience, having retired as the owner of Swann & Company and coached over 200 individuals to successful careers. Mary is not only a seasoned businesswoman but also a passionate world traveler who finds joy in encouraging women across the globe.

Primrose Lehualani Harris

Primrose Lehualani Harris, born and raised in Lahaina, Maui, is a Native Hawaiian Entrepreneur deeply rooted in her kuleana. She infuses her culture into all aspects of her life, striving to empower women from the inside out. As a dōTERRA Wellness Advocate, Primrose is passionate about providing tools that offer freedom for healing, growth, and thriving. She is grateful for the opportunity to share this mission with the WMYFB family.

Sheila Marrow

Sheila contributes a wealth of experience and compassion to our organization. With 25 honorable years as a corrections officer in Westchester County, New York, she embodies dedication and service. Beyond her entrepreneurial spirit, Sheila is an avid farmer and animal lover. As the proud owner of Da Dog Wash Maui, she extends her care to the furry friends of Maui, embodying her passion for animal welfare.
