This is a Training for Women 25 and older who have signed up to be a mentor in our "Women Who Inspire" Mentorship Program .

In our Mentor Program, we strive to cultivate mentoring relationships that provide women with guidance, support and community connections. We match young women between the ages of 18-35 years old, with a trained female empowerment mentor. 

The mentoring pair works together one-on-one and join together as a community on a monthly basis to share life experiences in our personal development workshops. 

Our goal is to cultivate new relationships that support increased confidence, self-sufficiency, and connection to our community.  We are seeking women who have life experiences to share, who are great listeners, have a caring heart and who are interested in having a major impact in the community. 

By becoming a volunteer mentor, you will work one-on-one with a mentee to provide support and guidance approximately 2 to 4 hours per month.  You will be required to complete WMYFB code of ethics and training, attend at least one workshop with your mentee and the rest of the cohort of mentoring pairs for a duration of three to six months.   

One-on-one support and workshops provide skill building, goal and plan development, and a supportive environment for women in Maui County looking to take their next steps in life. We are seeking women to join the mentor pool for the Mentor Program on an ongoing basis. Matching will occur after your interview and when we find a mentee for you.
