Join Us for an Empowering Zoom Meeting with Monica Marrow of What Makes You Feel Beautiful

We are excited to extend a warm invitation to you all for a special event happening this Monday, June 5, 2023.

The Rotary Club of Kahului is delighted to welcome Monica Marrow, the founder of What Makes You Feel Beautiful, to their weekly meeting. This is an opportunity for us to come together, learn, and be inspired by Monica's incredible work in empowering girls and women.

What Makes You Feel Beautiful is a remarkable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to teach girls and women how to cultivate self-love at every age and phase of life. Monica Marrow, a certified empowerment self-love coach and state-certified youth mental health first aid responder, has created the F.L.Y. FIRST LOVE YOURSELF program. This program offers workshops, classes, support groups, and mentoring to girls aged 13-17, enabling them to develop self-esteem and self-worth.

Monica's core values of self-love, inclusivity, and empowerment drive her mission to empower girls and women physically and mentally. Her vision is to create a world where self-love is a fundamental part of every person's life. Monica firmly believes that everyone deserves to feel beautiful and worthy, irrespective of their background, identity, or circumstances. Her passion for empowering girls stems from her own challenging childhood, which fuels her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

With a background as a retired licensed cosmetologist and former salon owner, as well as her experience as a professional media red carpet photographer, Monica brings a unique perspective on the importance of self-care and self-love. She has also worked at Hudson Pride Center in New Jersey as their programs director, gaining valuable experience in empowering marginalized communities.

Since moving to Hawai'i in 2018, Monica has continued her mission of empowering girls and women through her work with What Makes You Feel Beautiful and the F.L.Y. FIRST LOVE YOURSELF program. Her dedication and efforts have positively influenced the lives of girls and women across the country.

The Rotary Club of Kahului, an international service organization, is honored to have Monica Marrow as their guest speaker.
