"A woman that has made an impact in my life and has supported me in moments of major life events is our founder Monica Marrow."
There has been research that shows that having female friends and peers increases our health and longevity, can prevent us from experiencing PTSD and trauma and help us lead less stressful lives.
As Women's History Month commences, let us take a moment to reflect upon the women in our lives that have made a difference and simply gave us joy and support as well as the women in history who have paved the way for us to openly voice what we feel and think today.
A woman that has made an impact in my life and has supported me in moments of major life events is our founder Monica Marrow. She embodies the term "female empowerment". With a subtle yet powerful form of communication and encouragement, Monica has had the ability to reassure me that I had everything I needed inside, that what I wanted to achieve, yet needed the skill set or focus to do so, could be acquired and that even in the most heartbreaking life experiences I could find in it meaning and listen to its message to embrace the truth with kindness towards myself and move forward with grace, knowing that better moments were to come. I honor her this month and thank her for all that she is and does and for also being among the women who continue to pave a way for all women, to lead their lives the way that they choose and empower others to do the same.
Join me on March 8th as I co-host our 1st annul International Women's Day Event, live on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/empoweredfemale/permalink/909305449831876/
